Be More Orangutan - and help us secure a future for Sumatran orangutans and their forest home.

Did you know that orangutans are semi-solitary? The relationship between a mother and her child lasts for many years, but time spent with other orangutans is limited. With this in mind, we're thinking of social distancing as behaving more like orangutans.

The coronavirus pandemic means that most of us are confined to our homes - so marathons and cake sales are no longer possible for the time being. This Ape-ril, you can still help to save orangutans in the wild…by unleashing your inner ape!

Take part in Ape-ril

Show your solidarity with our Great Ape cousins this Ape-ril - Be More Orangutan!

To take part, share an image of you unleashing your inner orangutan, make a donation, and nominate friends and family to do the same. You could even get sponsored to dye your beard or your hair orangutan-orange!

By raising awareness, and vital funds, we can make a real and lasting impact on the survival of orangutans and the conservation of their rainforest home.
